Leland (Crash) is doing well!!!!!!!!!

So much has come about since I last wrote, lets see, Leland has had an accident and subsequent surgery, is healing and hurting all at the same time, Bryan has been hired for his first job at Bahama Bucks, this is great, and I have meet "Aunt Susan" and it was terrific. Now lets break this down:

Leland was practicing last Wednesday for a race when he crashed, he got himself to Uncle Gene's shop where Dad was and then Dad got him to the ER, the Dr. there told him that he had a "separated shoulder, and a chip in his wrist. He mentioned that he should see an orthopedic in the next week to 10 days. When we got him to his home Dad and Tyler gave him a blessing, in this blessing he was told to seek out his Dr. soon and the Dr. would be able to take care of him. Thursday morning Lauren and Leland called Dr. Crothers office and they wanted to see him that very day. Leland learned that not only did he have a separated shoulder, he also had a dislocated bone in his wrist and he had broken the bone that supplied the blood to his hand, if he had waited to see the Dr. like the ER doc had suggested he would of quit possibly lost his hand. I am so thankful for the Priesthood and the fact that the men in my life are worthy to use it to call upon the powers of heaven and bless the lives of our family. Leland had surgery on Friday evening and is recovering at home. He will be racing once again before we know it, I am sure of this.

Bryan was notified on Friday that he had been hired to work as a team member at the Bahama Bucks on Power between Guadalupe and Baseline. He is so excited, this brings him one step closer to getting not only his license but a auto of some kind. He starts his training this very day, wish him well.

Aunt Susan, what a great time I had meeting her and spending 2 very short hours, not near enough time. We will most surely get together again. It is hard to think of her as an Aunt, she is so close to Aunt Sharon's age. You all will love her, I promise. She is great.
What blessings come from obedience to our Father in Heaven.
